What is Polyester Filter Cloth?
As an important element of the filter press, polyester filter cloth has been widely accepted by more and more manufacturers and users of the filter press because of its strongest acid resistance and high temperature resistance up to 302°F (150°C). Surface finish grades can be leveled, machined and heat-set, each with its own special properties and purposes.
Polyester filter and dust filter fabrics offer excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, plus excellent dimensional stability. Typical applications include vacuuming, particularly in the cement industry; acid ore refining; anodized bag for electroplating; tubular pin separator fabrics.
Why select Polyester filter cloth?
Excellent combined properties such as good looks, high tensile strength, abrasion resistance and permeability make it an effective and popular filter media. Various polyester yarns are offered to meet specific applications. For example, the multifilament filter cloth not only enhances the tensile strength but also ensures good separation of the sludge cake. Various weave patterns including plain, dyed and twill, are designed with special purposes in mind.
Polyester filter cloth is famous for its mechanical strength and high resistance in acidic environments. It is especially used for the Frame filter press dewatering, the belt filter dewatering or the filter bag filter.
